What is Effective Microorganism (“EM”)
EM is an abbreviated term for a group of more than 80 types of useful microorganisms that are beneficial to humans and the environment. These microorganisms are mainly combinations of Yeast, Malts, Lactobacilli, Actinomycetes, Photosynthetic Bacteria, Filiform Bacteria, etc. EM has been very successful, since its inception in the 1980’s, on many Ecological Reclamation Projects worldwide.
